Roots in Northern Minnesota.

Chapter 1: As the son of two park rangers, I built a lot of forts as a kid.

Chapter 2: After college I moved to the Bay Area, got an MBA, and worked for Autodesk, a software giant.

Chapter 3: Wanting simplicity, I gave away most of what I owned and lived out of my truck for five years, along with my dog Bea.

Chapter 4: After a quarter million miles roaming the West, I landed in Bend, Oregon, where I hope to stay for a while.

Chapter 5: I’m now scheming the next big thing.
